Ondo state Government Organized A-One Day Sensitization Meeting With Healthcare Stakeholders On COVID-19 Pandemic.

The Ondo State government, following the Coronavirus outbreak, today Tuesday, organized a one-day sensitization meeting with medical practioners from both public and private hospitals at Ondo State Information and Technology Agency (SITA).
The meeting was held to address the COVID-19 Pandemic and as well for the government to synergize with medical practioners on how to combat the deadly virus before its outbreak in Ondo state.
Dr. Wahab Adegbenro, the Ondo State Commissioner for Health, admonished the medical practioners to see this challenge as a big problem and handle it with all seriousness.
The Senior Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Health, Dr. Jibayo Adeyeye, encouraged all stakeholders present to come up with suggestions and ideas that would aide the government to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Dr. Gbelela from the Department of Epidemiology and Disease Control, Ondo State Ministry of Health, dutifully outlined measures and guidelines to be taken in the case of any suspected symptoms of COVID-19 virus. Do not panic but rather see this period as the time which made us to choose our profession, Dr. Gbelela noted.
Other deligates took turn to give advice which revolves at isolation, hand sanitizing to pleading with the government to equip various hospitals with appropriate medical equipments as well as encouraging servants in Ondo state to work from home.
